The challenge
The client had built a loyal audience around high-production chemistry courses — but their content was being ripped and resold within hours of release. The no-code platform they used had no real content protection, no room for a custom assessment model, and buckled under exam-day traffic spikes.
Our approach
How we built it.
Ran a two-week discovery to map the content pipeline, learner journey and the exact points where piracy was happening.
Designed a DBMS schema that separates identity, entitlements and content delivery so access can be revoked instantly.
Implemented hardware-bound DRM and encrypted, expiring stream URLs so recordings are useless outside a licensed session.
Built a custom assessment engine with question banks, timed exams and anti-cheat controls tuned for chemistry problem sets.
Load-tested to well beyond peak exam-day concurrency before a phased rollout.
The outcome
0
Piracy incidents post-launch
42%
Lift in course completion
25k+
Concurrent learners supported
Piracy incidents dropped to effectively zero after launch.
Course completion rose 42% as the experience got faster and more reliable.
The platform now supports 25k+ concurrent learners on exam days.
New course programs launch in days instead of months.

“Buildify didn't just rebuild our platform — they closed a hole that was costing us real revenue every single week. It finally feels like infrastructure we own.”
